Its location was great in a lovely area. And it was also near main tourist attractions of Lakes as well as a great local pub recommended by Mel.

It was in a great and amazing location close enough to rural England, North Lancashire coast/north Yorkshire and the Lake District and beautiful grounds in a spectacular scenic location away from the tourist throngs and commercialism of the Lake District. The room turned out to be modern and airy with shower and the fridge.

The host mel was super nice. We arrived n got fresh cake n tea which was a lovely surprise. The room was really comfy n clean with a fridge that had fresh milk. Breakfast was delish, def set us up for the day!
The only thing was we only stayed for one night, wish we could stay longer. Also not a big deal but the room was a bit upstairs which was a lil tough for us.

Perfect getaway for couples
We spent a night here and loved it! The room was comfy with fab views of sheep grazing outside. Mel was such a gem, always making sure we were happy. Breakfasts were super filling and delish! Only bummer was the picnic area could use more seating, but it was still nice to chill outside.

A Tranquil Getaway with Perfect Hospitality
I enjoyed a spacious room with a fabulous en-suite. Breakfast featured an unbelievable fresh fruit medley. Mel's warm hospitality, including tea and cake upon arrival, added a personal touch. Don't miss the ice lollies in the garden on a sunny day!

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, with fresh milk provided in the fridge and lovely homemade cakes served in the lounge made our stay enjoyable and convenient for exploring nearby attractions.
Everything met my expectations.
